Best Science Books Kids

Who would REALLY like to help the kids on this site looking for homework help?

I have noticed a general distatse on the site for kids looking for “quick fix” answers to questions by going on the Yahoo answers website. My feeling is the best way to help kids on this site is to give them additional resources, and have them research the answers for themselves. I’m even thinking of creating a resource webpage if I 1) can’t find a site that already fills this need, and 2) get some really good resource websites. If you had to pick one good website for the subject you or your child has the most problems with, what would it be?

I’m not that great at scienc so I’ll pick a science resource site.

Kathy Wollard has written some funny and interesting books that help kids answer science questions such as Why do Leaves Change Color? I used this site a great deal in one of my classes.
